After decades of running large Pharmacy Benefit Managers (aka. PBMs), the oft-maligned middlemen responsible for the price of prescriptions, the team behind Waltz Health wanted to bring transparency and support to the industry. Selling their services to a primarily B2B audience that would ultimately hand them off directly to patients, they wanted to buck the tradition of putting forth a dry, sterile brand and create something that signaled a very different, consumer-friendly approach.

Our process began with the name, Waltz, conveying patient partnership in an approachable, unexpectedly non-medical way. The visual brand followed suit, with a dynamic typographic system, bold and sophisticated color palette, and fresh photography that focuses on the human side of pharmacy care.
